Desktop
I decided to explain my desktop a bit better here with the use of a meme I'd seen on my friends list. So here we go. The programs and documents I'm running as of 17 June, 2004.
01. First things first, the background. A really simple one I did using a Hi-Res copy of that ever-so-popular Rupert Grint photo that's been floating around the fandom. I did some layering, some texturing, used brushes by crumblingwalls and other random brushes that I take absolutely no credit for but were installed in a package zip file with no credit.
02. Adobe Photoshop. I always have this open. Always always. Whether I'm doing icons, layouts, backgrounds, wallpapers, blends, whatever. It's always nice to have soemthing to do when everything else dies.
03. RoughDraft. The perfect program for screenplays and novels. I use this thing everyday and can't imagine going back to Microsoft Word. It's just so mechanical when compared.
04. Two Internet Explorer windows. Usually I have more open, but I've barely been online this morning. I think at the time I had Marry Me (I'd just joined) and Out of Nowhere: The Centre Chronicles by aceinit. Normally I have one window with FictionPress and one window that has something to do with this site.
05. Outlook Express. I have to have this open every time I'm online. Every every time. If I don't, I go mad.
06. WS_FTP. It never fails, every time I'm online, I'm uploading something onto this domain. Whether it's images for journals or whatnot. If I didn't have all of this space, this place would have crashed a long time ago.
07. Best Buy Rhapsody. It's like my own Kazaa, but without all the SpyWare. I could pay to have the playlists burned to a CD, but why would I wanna do a thing like that?
08. InterVideo WinDVD 5. I've been trying to get all of the requests finished for Cap It!, but ended up capping some of Disco Pigs instead.
09. Notepad. I normally have one file open, either a webpage file or a chapter for FictionPress. I think at the time I took the picture, I was updating the cliques section.
