I've ordered the last thing on E-Bay for the time being. I finally found the issue of Edge with The Getaway on the cover and decided to buy it. It ended up being £4 with s+h. I'm insane.
What's this? New Streets video? Censored? Maybe later.
...
Much later. For I have homework and class tomorrow.
I finally uploaded the pictures of Moony, who is actually a pit bull/lab mix and growing bigger and bigger every other week. It's insane, it really is. And yes. That is a frisbee in her mouth, flipped over her head. INSANE.

I bit my tongue. And now I am bleeding. Ow ow ow.
You know, I have a LiveJournal, but lately I find myself drifting away from it. There's an obligation there, particularly when you have a large amount of friends. Some people expect comments and the like. They comment and they expect comments back. Granted, I have thought the same on occasion, but most of the time I'd like to go to my journal and not feel bad about not looking through my friends list. I think I may do a friends cut. Because I can't handle so many entries popping up. It's driving me mad.
But yes, busy busy busy. Though you may not be able to tell from my constant work on this site. I don't think I mentioned it here, but I bought a five-month-old puppy last Friday. She's a black and white lab/boxer mix (though she looks quite a bit like a pit bull). Her original name was Marly, but she didn't strike me as a Marly. Therefore, her new name became Moony. She's insane, really she is. In her mind, cats equal toys, tissues seem to be a lovely new snack, leashes are merely accessories. She need not worry about them, she can simply pull as hard as possible and hope my hand either breaks or I enventually let go. And the older the dog, the more fun they are to terrorise. She's not yet completely housebroken, which creates quite a problem as my father insists she must go in the kennel in the backyard. And, of course, Moony thinks differently. You can keep her in the kennel for an hour and she won't go, but the minute you let her out, there she goes, shitting in the grass. Brilliant dog, that one.
I may get a job at CTU. It pays $10 an hour and I sit behind a desk and help people figure out what classes to take. Hm. Let's see, on one hand we have Best Buy. As in "Hi, can I help you with anything? No? Well, I'll keep stopping by to see if you need help because this is retail and it's tradition, particularly since I'm being paid minimum wage." And on the other hand, we have work study at CTU. As in "Hi, let me check your major on the computer and see what classes you'll be needing, there you go, now go find a counselor and leave me the hell alone." $10 an hour. Yeah.
I really should start going to sleep before 2AM, rather than listening to Rufus Wainwright until I nearly fall asleep at the computer. But I have a story idea that's been brewing in my head and I can't get it written down. My muse must be pissed because I feel a drunken haze coming over my writing. Ah, well.

New layout. Because I am shameless. It started out as a blend, then gradually went way off course and became a new layout. I was listening to "Bloodflowers" by The Cure on repeat (which is possible the best Cure song alongside "Just Like Heaven"), if that's any indication as to my mood while I was making it. I also put the tagboard back up because I can't find any other free HTML ones and PHP just doesn't want to work with this site. So yes. Go ahead and tag. You know you want to.

I finally started a new layout using Beizy and teh_indy's Prisoner of Azkaban screencaps. If I can find the perfect images, at least. Eh-heh.
I may be getting a job at CTU. It pays $10 a hour. I help people figure out what classes they need, etc. If I do get it, I'll be moving all of the fanlistings, save for The Streets one, to a collective domain. A cheap one, but I'm not too worried about that. The only one that gets a lot of visitors is aforementioned.

2:05AM MT - 22/09/04
My light is flickering and there is quite a bit of banging outside. Someone. Fucking. Hold me.
No, seriously, what's that noise? I've decided it's stopping right about...now.
I finally signed up for classes at CTU today.
Tuesday - 11:00am 12:50pm - Career Development
Thursday - 2:00pm 4:50pm - Introduction to Psychology
There really is no point to this entry. Oh, I need a new layout. Badly. I'm sick of this one.
I really should be going to sleep now.

Let's see...
We had to put my twelve-year-old dog, Duke, down on Monday, three days after my birthday. I've had that dog since I was seven. Worst day of my life. So you'll forgive me if I'm not feeling witty *snort*
I'm thinking of changing the layout already. I should really learn some self control.
The Streets fanlisting now has three affiliates. That has to be the busiest fanlisting I own. 25 members in about two months. Though I think there should be far more than that.
Guildenstern: I think I have it. A man talking sense to himself is no madder than a man talking nonsense not to himself.
Rosencrantz : Or just as mad.
Guildenstern : Or just as mad.
Rosencrantz : And he does both.
Guildenstern : So there you are.
Rosencrantz : Stark raving sane.

12:28AM MT - 03/09/04
So it's officially my birthday. Hm. The UK adult version of Prisoner of Azkaban came in the mail today, so hopefully tomorrow morning I'll have that and Sid & Nancy. Whee.
You know who else makes me weak in the knees? Kett Turton. And he's so young. He's only...two or three years older than me. That's a bit unusual for me.
"I should jump off the boat. That would put a spoke in their wheel."
"Not if they're expecting it."
"I should stay on the boat. That would put a spoke in their wheel."

8:24PM MT - 26/08/04
In about eight days I'll be one year older.
I've done away with the tagboard, by the way. I had no idea it was causing pop-ups. Piece of shit. I'll poke around for another one, but until then just, um...e-mail me if you have a question or comment.
Hrm, what else? Oh, new layout! I've been struggling to decide between this one, a Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead one, Sid & Nancy or Sirius Black. Ten points if you can find the connection. Ha.
I'm still adjusting a few things, so if something's not working, it will be very very soon. I'm also trying to work on a Kingdom Hospital fansite, as I seem to have a massive amount of knowledge on that and The Kingdom. So that should be fun. And I still have three fanlistings to finish. I did get the Snatch: Tommy fanlisting done right here.

1:30PM MT - 09/08/04
Gary Oldman in Sid & Nancy
*dies*
Now have a sudden urge to abandon my previously made layout templates and use these newfound caps.
My Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead DVD was shipped out from the UK today. Should be here in about a week or two. Will cap the hell out of it the minute it reaches my mailbox.
-Marietta
10:28PM MT - 06/09/04
Next layout? Hrm...either this fab little Ron/Harry layout I made using Gryffindor colors, s Sirius one or Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead because Tim Roth and Gary Oldman make me weak in the knees. O!
Must finish my Spreadsheet Applications homework before Monday. Blah.
Am dying my hair bright ginger soon. Oh the infinite joy this sparks within me.
Let. Me. Tell. You.
May I echo the cries of fangirls around the world and say: OMG SHOEBOX!!!one!!eleven!11

10:35PM MT - 25/07/04
I dunno, I thought it was interesting. Even though I fecking hate that song. Ah, well. It just popped up on my friends page on LiveJournal. Completely random.
I must say, I'm finding Rupert Grint more and more attractive. I'm so going to hell for this.

11:47AM MT - 17/07/04
New layout. I think this one might be my favourite so far. And it's fairly simple, as well. If you find anything wrong with it (broken links, images, etc) e-mail me. Though I'm pretty sure everything works. The tagboard is on its own page here. And until I can find a way to put it on the main page without screwing up the layout itself, I will. But right now, it works.
I have tons of labs to do. I'm done with school. No, really, I'm not sure I'll be able to make it through my second year at that damn university. Technical. Not my thing. Web design? Sure, why not? But I don't need to learn how to network a small business to be able to do web pages. I have eight years experience in web design. Eh. Maybe I'll go to school to be a CNA. Granted, CNAs tend to get stuck with the most disgusting jobs (taking out cathaters, cleaning bed spreads), but it would be something different. And it's not as if I'm giving up my other aspirations, but if you want to do anything in performing arts or be an author, you have to have some sort of stepping stone or something to fall back on.

A TV show made in the US, set in the US, aired in the US weeks before it airs on BBC2/3 is released in Europe two months before it's released in the US. Yes. It's official. I should be in London right about now.

12:19AM MT - 14/07/04
I finally have the Berlin, Berlin: Staffel Eins fanlisting up. I'm almost finished with "Shoulda Stood In Bed" (which has my first image map evah) and I finally started the layout for the Anna Edwards one. I still have to start the Denis Leary one, "Seizure Day," and In The Mood (1987). I applied for "Worry About You" - Ivy, All Characters (+): Kingdom Hospital, Spy Kids Series: Fegan Floop, Snatch: Tommy and The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson. We'll see how many I'm approved for.
I'm so behind on both of my classes since I missed an entire week, it's not funny. I have to do Lab 2 before 11:00AM tomorrow (despite the fact that I'm not going to Spreadsheet Applications lab) and I still have about three assignments for English Comp. II to do before next Monday. Meh.

Every single member so far in The Streets fanlisting is a girl. This amuses me to no end.
Alright, anyone who owns any episode of Kingdom Hospital and has Shareaza, share. Every single episode and I'm unable to download any of them. You all suck. In case you were wondering.
I'll put up a list of screencaps from various movies that I've taken later today. Promise.

12:35AM MT - 06/07/04
Looking through my stats for the site I found that five requests came from an adult friend finder. If you're here for that, I don't know how you found this site, but you're in the wrong place. Go away. Now.
After watching Kingdom Hospital for the past three weeks, I found that Kett Turton (you know, Paul) intrigued me quite a bit. So I decided to find out a bit on him. Apparently, he's a fan of The Streets *dies* I also suddenly have the urge to make a layout out of the pretty makeup-wearing pictures I found of him. We shall see. And oh, boy kissing. It's all too much for me to take at the moment. Heh.
I'm also looking out for hostees. If anyone's interested, e-mail me and we'll talk about whether or not your site could possibly be hosted here.
I swear, one of these days I'll put up that "Hosting" page I've been working on.

Only two good things came out of this 4th of July: Joe's Crab Shack and an excuse not to go to school tomorrow. Hurrah.
Added a ton of links from my own bookmarks to the-get this-"Link" page. Lord of the Rings, Misc, more Entertainment.
Everyone go to 99rooms.com, turn up the volume on your speakers and go to room 26. Come on. You know you want to.

I took a few pictures tonight and wanted to upload them onto my computer and post a few here. But is the USB port for the card working? No. Of course not. I even got Daisy to stay still and let me take a picture of both of us. And I took a picture of my signed by Tsunami Bomb Warped Tour program from last year. The port installed just fine, but it won't upload. It won't even show up on my computer.
Ah, well.
Put up a makeshift calendar because PHP won't work for me. I'm fairly sure Active Web Hosting allows it, it just doesn't want to work.
I uploaded a couple new wallpapers earlier today. Just a few simple Disco Pigs one. I also took the brush layer out of the main image ^up there. It made the entire image look low quality. It looks quite a bit better now, I think.

I want to hug Hal Sparks. No, really, I just want to hug him. Come on, am I the only person?
Brian Molko's voice makes me weak in the knees. Yes. Really.
I'm tempted to buy the new Spin magazine just for one article, but am torn between that and a new poster for my room. Someone told me the magazine is worth it, but the auction for the poster endsin six days. Meh.
I also can't stand Little Britain. It's not that the jokes go over my head. I understand them. I just don't think they're funny. Every other British comedy show I like. Just not that one. After they had the Daveth...em...sketch? last night, I had to change it. I thought it was painfully unfunny.
No. Really. Am I the only person?

Passed both Intro to Networking and English Composition I with A's. Go me. I figured I'd maybe get a B in English, simply because it's technical English and I've done nothing but creative English my entire life.
I'm actually wishing I'd gone to a regular university. Don't get me wrong, I like going part-time to CTU, but E-Business Management? Not my thing. I would have loved to major in Mythology or English, be in a choir class, a drama class. Once I move to London, I think I may try going to school there for a few years. Maybe a performing arts school in England. At least technical jobs get paid quite a bit in London. So that should give me another advantage.
I've been approved to run two more fanlistings: Bernard and the Genie (the sweetest movie I've ever seen Alan Cumming in, aside from Spy Kids: "Where's Mom and Dad?" Aw) and Final. Applied for Tommy of Snatch and Fegan Floop of Spy Kids (you saw that coming a mile away). I'm an idiot, but now I'm an occupied idiot.
I hate writer's block. I really do. It's not that I don't know where I'm going with any of my stories. I just can't get it all written out. And I feel bad for pushing off the next chapter of Laughing. I'm trying to get as much as I can written before I start posting again. I don't want to have everyone wait another six/seven months and lose people again. The first chapter I received 17 reviews. For the most recent? Five. Meh.

My computer is possessed. Somehow, the menu I was working on for my screencap site was uploaded as the main menu page. I thought I'd single-handedly fucked up my main page and would have to close it until it was fixed.

Right. Done. And in a day, no less. This is what being out of school does to me. Actually, it's a fairly simple layout, so it wasn't too difficult to get the main page (corset.html) changed. It was changing the layout of all the other pages that made me want to slam my head into a wall.
Watched AFI's 100 years and 100 songs or something. Eminem at 93? Alright, who did he have to blow to get there? Honestly, Eminem and then suddenly they have Sinatra and Fred Astaire. How do you manage that one? Other than that, I think most of them were dead on. Though maybe a bit too much Streisand. No. There was too much Streisand. Yes, we know she has the lung capacity of a fecking diver or something, but she's not that spectacular to receive higher spots on the countdown than Frank-fucking-Sinatra.
That said, I think the numbers may have been a bit off. Alright, here's what I think the top five should have been:
05 :: "Tonight" - West Side Story
04 :: "Sue Me" - Frank Sinatra and Vivian Blaine (Guys and Dolls)
03 :: "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend" - Marilyn Monroe
02 :: "Singin' in the Rain" - Gene Kelly
01 :: "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" - Judy Garland (Wizard of Oz)
I actually thought up ten, but don't feel like typing them all out. I watch a lot of musicals. Ha.
-Marietta
12:39AM MT - 22/06/04
I've decided I'm changing the layout once again. This one will be a touch different. I used a couple images of Tim Roth/Mr. Orange/Freddy Newendyke from Reservoir Dogs. Originally, the image I used for the side bar was "Hard Light," and the blood was definitely evident. So I figured I should probably soften it and blend it a bit more with the background (which is orange...naturally). The header of the page does have a quote from Freddy's "clever anecdote" because it just cracks me up at odd moments. But it's nothgin you couldn't see by looking through my blog. Shouldn't be too bad. Besides, how many people honestly look at this portion of my site? Everyone looks at Sassy, Anti-Hero and Give Me My Lighter Back. No, really, the stats show that almost no one really comes to the main page unless it's to see if I've put up codes and such.
And if anyone bitches, I'll laugh and throw them to the wolves because my hormones are insane and my ovary hurts.

Best. Site. Ever
Do you know those events that almost every city in the US has where they gather together over three dozen booths together with different items inside, whether they be free or incredibly pricey? Yeah, we call that "Spring Spree." Went today and stayed for three hours because yes, my family is absolutely mad. The perks? Free food and I didn't sit at home for hours on end doing nothing. The downfalls? Free food (too much of it) and the massive amounts of CSPD trainees or what have you running about struggling to control everyone. Ah, well.
My English teacher, Mr. Hartman showed up there. For all who haven't been about long, that man is funny, he's sweet, he's an all-around awesome person. I joined The Bible As In Literature during my senior year just so I could be in his class. Melanie took a picture of us once when I stopped by his classroom to talk to Angela. She asked if she could take a picture for the yearbook, so he grabs me and hugs me tight for it. I should have asked her for a copy of it. Damn.

Joined a few cliques (let me direct your attention to the right). Everything on this page is a bit unorganized. It's all here, just...everywhere. I need to seperate the joined fanlistings from the owned and move the cliques and fanlistings link into a different menu. If that made sense. I also have two fanlistings to create a page for that I was approved for a week or so ago.
I may move my fanlistings to a new domain once I get the money. Not on Active Web Hosting, of course. I can't afford $20 a month, no matter how much bandwidth and web space they give. I'll probably find a cheap, reliable service and move them all there. Once I get a job *cough*
Oh yeah. I joined a couple cliques. I'm such a girl *snort*

Why do I keep feeling like it's July? I was looking at my Yahoo! group and thought "Hrm. No one wrote anything in June and it's already July." Someone mentioned an article in the new Spin and I thought "Damn. It's already July and they said it was the June issue." I swear I'm not drunk, really. Not recently. Eh-heh.
Is it odd that I didn't realize Tim Roth was in Pulp Fiction as well? I haven't seen that movie since it first came out on DVD...em...years ago and found screencaps of it yesterday. I think I may have been distracted at the time.
And while I'm on the subject, Tarantino bless Amazon.com. Bought more merchandise than my budget allows. Am now v. broke, but v. satisfied. Despite not having any money for that new Spin magazine. Next week, I swear.
Oh, before I forget, any screenplay writers or novelists should definitely download RoughDraft. Go. Now.
Will be visiting London very soon.
The end.

Upcoming Fanlistings:
All male characters - Reservoir Dogs
(because if you look in the deleted scenes, there was a female character. And the all characters one was already taken.)
Berlin, Berlin Season One
(because German TV finally started showing it and I'm hooked)
Applied Fanlistings:
Final (2001)
Anna Edwards
Elaine Cassidy
The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson
I think that's all of them. I could be wrong. I can't even remember anymore. I should really start keeping track of all of the fanlistings I apply for.
Current Fanlistings:
The Getaway (PS2)
Sienna Miller
Don Kembry
"Eddie Loves Baseball"
Double Decker Bus
The Streets
Denis Leary's playing a New York firefighter in Rescue Me. Have I ever mentioned how much I fecking love that man? Guess not.

One final project down, one to go. And then finals. Blech. Next semester I'll have two classes every Monday and Wednesday. Which means I'll be at CTU from 11:00AM to 4:00PM. Only this will be worse than high school because, at an adult technical college, you don't make friends quite the same. I knew I was too young for that school. There's only one other student I know of who's under the age of 22. I feel so alone.
This site looks horribly plain without PHP, doesn't it? Ah, well. Once I get a chance to breath, I'll get it done. No more HTML once I get to break.
I took 490 caps from Reservoir Dogs. Fun. I think I should get to making some icons from them. I've already made three. They're surprisingly easy to do. That doesn't happen often with screencaps.
And I'm already tired of the Sienna Miller layout. What did I tell you? I think after this I'll do either a Reservoir Dogs layout or maybe a Snatch or Lock, Stock.... I'll try keeping this one up for another month, I swear.

I just realized I am a shit webmistress. My "WWW" link had nothing in it. And my "you" section? Nichts. This will be remedied, that I promise you, my lack of web visitors. Mark my words.
I may apply to run the Keane fanlisting if it hasn't already been taken. Yeah, they're that good. And I'm itching to make a new layout.
Okay, to appease anyone who thought they would be visiting a site with some amount of intelligence, here. 34 Return of the King bases I did on a whim earlier tonight while procrastinating instead of doing my Networking project. You're welcome.
